Join Rabbi Andrea of Temple Israel and Dance Educator Anna Hendricks for a child-friendly Tashlich
Monday Sept 26 3:30-4:30pm.
Register for location information.
Tashlich (literally translated to “casting off”) is an embodied water ritual performed in community and in personal reflection on Rosh Hashanah. Our tradition teaches us to cast our sins, our transgessions, into flowing water and hold this act as a reminder to be in relationship to forgiveness and to one another.
We’ll have a joint tashlich with adults and kids filled with song and movement. We’ll hold a space for adults and caretakers to be alone in personal reflection, at which time Anna Hendricks will lead kids in a creative movement tashlich.
